Guru

The Guru is both external and internal. From the exterior he gives a push to the mind to turn it inwards. From the interior he pulls the mind inwards. from the interior he pulls the mind towards the Self and helps in guiding the mind. That is Guru’s grace. There is no difference between God,Guru and Self; Maharishi Ramana.

Fate, Free will and beyond.

The results of action flow according to the law of creature. Is karma supreme ? it is insentient.

The creator remaining everywhere makes each one to play his role in life according their karma.. that which is not destined will not happen despite every effort .what is destined is bound to happen. This is certain. therefore the best course is to remain silent.

All the activities which the body is to go through are determined when it first comes into existence. It does not rest with you to accept or reject them. The only freedom you have is to turn your mind inward and renounce activities there: Maharishi Ramana.

Does God Exist ?

God exists. He is so evident that it requires no testimony to prove him. No proof can strengthen his being, nor can any refutation weaken him it. Things other than him can be proved or disproved but not he.

God abides in usas our true self. Self is self-evident .Does the existence of one’s own self need any proof? The most immediate feeling of every one : “I am” is not illusion but a real, intuitive experience . On the other hand if one were to say unto oneself :” I am not”,one would be denying what is only real and true.If a person were to force this position upon himself ,he would not a normal individual because his experience would not be empirically valid. A living individual can not think that he is not live in other words, one can not experience one’s non- existence or one’s unawareness…continue

Vadanta

Vedanta is the spiritual truth, where there is no place for rituals or studying holy books. There are so many books about this subject, such as Upanishads, but these books help us gain supreme knowledge, and as students, we should study such books. But this knowledge is merely for our understanding of intellectual knowledge or only memory. Real knowledge is behind intelligence.

At the time of clouds, we can not see the blue sky. But when there are no clouds, we can see the Blue sky. Likewise, we can not take the experience of Bliss when thoughts are in our minds. But by Observing the mind, we can understand or experience ourselves. Language can not describe it. That is why Upanishads said? Nati, meaning we describe this as our best but can’t describe it because it is a matter of meditation, not of languages.

Vedanta is the ultimate truth.

What I want to explain in this post what is the teaching of Vedanta; it is the teaching of Upnishdas. Upnishdas are that part of vadas

These are fundamental teachings of the Hindu Vedas as have been described in Bhagavad Gita and other Upnishdas. In Vedas, there are some wrong things have been added also. How can we misuse mantras for harmful effects on someone? But real knowledge of the self has been described in Upnishdas. This is the knowledge of Vedanta.

I will give some ideas of this knowledge.

1. ‘I’ is the only real thing, it is our being or self. But my Is illusion.

Understand that my body, my mind, my son, my wife, my money, my property this is different from me or ‘I’. It had been described in the 13th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita very briefly. Now when I will leave my body. I can’t take it with me ‘ my ‘ I will leave here. But ‘ I’ will remain forever because ‘ I am ‘ is the deathless spirit. There are two parts to this knowledge. First, we have to understand the knowledge by theory and then the second part is of meditation. With this practice and by the grace of the Lord. If we can work very hard on this subject which I said something so one day you will understand the importance and beauty of it. It’s a vast knowledge so I will explain It with very keen interest in other posts.
