Vadanta: The ultimate truth.

Vadanta is a way to understand the purpose of our lives. It is described in Scriptures Such as the Upanishads, Guruvani, and Buddha’s scriptures. But over the ages, the language and ideas are different.

The main teaching is this, as my Guru St. Nikka Singh used to say: Confirm one thing: you are not body, you are not mind, you are not senses, but Sakshi, meaning the watcher who looks at these things.” This is the same teaching as Maharishi Ramana, Nishal Das, etc., who have realised the Self. When we understand the theory of Vedanta, then our second step will be ‘ Practice of Self-inquiry ‘, as Nam japa, observation, and many ways are possible, but the most effective is Observation of the mind. My Guru St Nikka Singh also gave Updesha to me” Observe your mind, and you will go straight “. Here, in the second step, we have to do a lot for the practice of the Self.

Maharishi Ramana said to Paul Brunton that you have to pay one price that is not what other people think,” I am a body; you have to leave this idea. When we understand the theory of Vedanta, we start the practice of observation. In this practice, we look at the mind without giving in to ideas of Religion, tradition, and social society. Because the practice is of emptying the mind. We have loaded our minds like a computer, and a computer has a limit programmed into it. Culture, religions, and traditions program our minds.

Jiddu Krishnamurti used to say this in his lectures worldwide. The teaching of Vedanta is, Aham Brahmasmi, ” meaning ” I am That”. In the Old Testament, this is also written: ” I am that”

We have to realise this: That ‘I am That ‘. It is a very big topic to understand through theory, and I want to describe it in other posts.
