Need for practice

your practice is meant not to allow yourself to be distracted by other thoughts ; Maharishi Ramana.

Comments; it is not possible to achieve eternal peace which is our real nature , when our thoughts are going on. so we have to practice the method of Self-inquiry for stillness of our mind.in peaceful mind we can got puffs of bliss.

Guru

The Guru is both external and internal. From the exterior he gives a push to the mind to turn it inwards. From the interior he pulls the mind inwards. from the interior he pulls the mind towards the Self and helps in guiding the mind. That is Guru’s grace. There is no difference between God,Guru and Self; Maharishi Ramana.

Sat – Darshanm

On the rising of the ego everything rises and with its subsides all subside. The ‘ego’ is therefore all and tracking is the way to victory over everything….. Maharishi Ramana.

Comments; As Maharishi describes that ‘ego’ or ‘I’ thought is the source of all the problems. because ,Jiva, Samnsara, or esharwa all will subside when source of its found.when mind will be quite then a new diamenion will be found which is bliss.

Sat- Darshanam

without the,’I’ the second and third person can not exist.

When the ‘I’ subside through inquiry about its source ,

The second and third persons too disappear, our natural state ,shines forth….Maharishi Ramana.

Comments; It looks very simple but it is very meaningful. as maharishi describing his own experience. when we trace or watch the source of ‘I’ of the thoughts which is mother thought. every type of thoughts starts from ‘ I’ thought.and when we watch this place then every thought emerges in the self and our natural state shines as bliss.

Wastage of energy

Man is trying all the time to become non-violent. So there is a conflict between ‘what is’ which is violence, and what ‘should be ‘which is non-violence. there is a conflict between the two. That is the very essence of the wastage of energy. As long as there is a duality between ‘what is’ and ‘what should be ‘ that is the wastage of energy. -Man is trying to become something else, making an effort to achieve what ‘should be ‘ that conflict is wastage of energy.

Why should I have the opposite at all, as non-violence as the ideal? The ideal is not real, it has no meaning, it only leads to various forms of hypocrisy: being violent and pretending not to be violent. Or if you say you are an idealist and will eventually become peaceful. It is a great pretence, an excuse because it will take many years for you to be without violence. Indeed it may never happen. In the meantime, you are a hypocrite and still violent. So if we can not in abstraction but actually, put aside completely all ideals and only deal with the fact — which is violence – then there is no wastage of energy.this is very important to understand: J. Krishnamurti.

Meditation

Meditation is not any different thing to achieve it. It is your real being. We live in conflict because we never touch it. Without knowing ourselves what is the use of knowing other knowledge? Your self is like a Dawn in darkness. It is eternal peace.

How you will able to find this? ‘ be aware of your thoughts, feelings. What is important to be aware of your activities of mind and outside?

Sometimes sit-in comfort pose. Be aware of your mind and you will find the burden of your mind will be removed.

And you can do it while you are doing your work. The same line of peace will continue in your actions: Swami Amarjit.

( I am sharing my own experience )

Sat-darshanam

The ‘I’ thought is the first to die for those who have taken the refuse ,out of fear of death.at the feet of the conqueror of death. thereafter they are naturally immortal. can they ever again be assailed by the fear of death?; Maharishi Ramana.

This is my message on New year, Read maharishi teaching as I also writing in this blog and be free of the death; Amarjit Singh.

How long should be inquiry be practiced?

this is 15th question asked by S.Pillie to Maharishi Ramana.

Answer; As long as there are impressions of objects in the mind, so long the inquiry ” Who am I” is required. as thoughts arise they should be destroyed then and there in the very place of their origin through inquiry. if one resorts to contemplation of the self unintermittently, until self is gained ,that alone would do. as long as there are enemies within the fortress, they will continue to sally forth; if they were destroyed as they emerge, the fortress will fall into our hands.
