Control of mind

The control of the mind is of two kinds, it’s lulling and it’s destruction.

A lulled mind will rise again, but not the one which is destroyed. : Maharishi Ramana.

Comment: we can find eternal bliss but it should be not permanent. As I can understand it. I can experience it while in my practice of observation of the mind but when I am not practising then I have no feeling of bliss. But as great Saints, they reached a very profound peaceful eternal peace that is forever. This is destruction of mind.

The sparkling of Truth

The sparking of truth devoid of ‘I’ is the greatest austerity. This is the teachings of Ramadan.

Comments; when one does his practice of meditation and ones thoughts becomes more and more less and the ‘I’ thought which is the mother thought is removed then the sparking of truth happens which is our true nature of bliss.

Need for practice.

It is important both for of you to strive for Guru to help; Maharishi Ramana.

Comment: when one person practices meditation, then for you, it’s necessary to strive, and the Guru will help you with this. You will achieve the goal.

My experience of self-inquiry

Today I was sitting in the practice of self-inquiry. Usually, I do this practice for 2hours in the morning and two hours in the evening sitting. My mind was going outside into worldly objects. But I didn’t stop my practice then it started to be calm. That is why I am writing this post. Our mind has been use to go outside and never want to be calm. From so many lives it is wandering outside. Like a bird who is caught in the net. by total effort, it wants to come out of the net. It only stops when it dies. So to gain this eternal bliss more practice is needed.

18th question of self-inquiry

Of the devotees who is the greatest?

Answer by Maharishi Ramana: He who gives himself up to the Self, which is God, is the most excellent devotee. Giving one’s self up to God means remaining constantly in the self without giving room for the rise of any thoughts other than that the self.

Whatever burdens are thrown on God, he bears them since the supreme power of God makes all things move. Why should we, without submitting ourselves with thoughts as to what should be done and how, and what should be not done and how not? We know that the train carries all the loads, so we after getting on it why should we carry our small luggage on our heads to our discomfort, instead of putting it down on the train and feeling at ease?
